A bronze cast of a Kowhai Seed Pod from a tree found in a Friends Christchurch garden. The tree has a larger seed than my Mt Eden Kowhai tree and I like the idea of the seeds looking more like a substantial bead. The pods have a beautiful texture and form that looks beautiful in bronze. The rich golden glow of the bronze mimics the natural kowhai pods as they dry out on the trees.
