There’s a quiet kind of magic in flowers. When you take a moment to really see them — the unexpected colours, the shape of a petal, the way they turn toward the light — something shifts. Nature has a way of gently pulling you back to the present, reminding you of what matters.

Henri Matisse said, “There are always flowers for those who want to see them.” I couldn’t agree more. Whether they’re blooming boldly or hiding in the margins, flowers have always caught my attention. They offer small moments of joy — wild, elegant, and fleeting — asking nothing from us but to be noticed.

I find endless inspiration in their contrasts: fragile but determined, delicate yet vivid, brief yet unforgettable. As a maker, I try to capture a little of that feeling — the lightness, the joy, the wonder — in each piece I create.
