HerbertandWilks Jewellery operates this website. Throughout the site, "we", "us", and "our" refer to HerbertandWilks Jewellery. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
User Obligations
You must be of legal age to use our services. Illegal activities and harmful content transmission are prohibited. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information.
Products, Handcrafted Variations & Care
We reserve the right to limit quantities, modify prices, and discontinue products without notice. Due to the handcrafted nature of our jewellery and natural variations in gemstones, minor differences from product images may occur. Fair wear and tear over time is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Custom & Bespoke Orders
Custom-made, resized, or engraved pieces are finalized upon order confirmation and are non-refundable for change of mind, without limiting your rights under New Zealand consumer law.
Pricing, Payments & Errors
Prices are subject to change. We reserve the right to refuse or limit orders, and to cancel orders arising from obvious pricing or typographical errors prior to dispatch.
Shipping, Returns & International Duties
For details on shipping and returns, refer to our Returns Policy. For international shipments outside New Zealand, any local customs duties or import taxes are the customer's responsibility.
Consumer Guarantees Act & Fair Trading Act (NZ)
HerbertandWilks Jewellery acknowledges and respects your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA). Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under New Zealand consumer law. You are entitled to a remedy for faulty goods as provided under the CGA.
For business customers: If you are acquiring goods from us for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and relevant provisions of the Fair Trading Act 1986 will not apply.
