Collection: Wrapped Jewellery – Oxidised Fine Silver & Keum-Boo NZ

We wrap ourselves in cloth to signal who we are — the tribe we belong to, the identity we carry into the world. The Wrapped collection takes that idea into metal.

Each piece in this series is wrapped in additional layers — texture pressed into the surface, 24ct gold fused by hand, oxidisation deepening the contrast. The result is jewellery that reads like fabric: tactile, layered, and quietly personal.

The surface texture has evolved over time — from raw concrete and basalt stone to lace and rolling mill — each material leaving its own mark on the silver. That evolution is part of the work. These are not static objects.

Every piece is formed by hand in my Mt Eden studio, Auckland — some hollow-built, others solid — but all share the same logic: the surface is wrapped in texture and 24ct gold, layered like cloth onto metal.
