Collection: Wrapped Jewellery – Oxidised Fine Silver & Keum-Boo NZ

Wrapped is a study in contrast — where precious metal meets organic texture, and ancient technique meets modern minimalism.

This collection features oxidised fine silver jewellery, hand-scored and wrapped into hollow, sculptural forms. Each piece is fused with 24ct Keum-Boo gold, an ancient Korean gilding process that creates a permanent bond between gold and silver. The result? Jewellery that glows — bold, luminous, and full of character.

The surface markings are intentional — organic striations that resemble volcanic rock, bark, or water-carved earth. The oxidised finish deepens the visual contrast, allowing the gold to shimmer across valleys of darkened silver. No two pieces are the same.

Each pendant, earring, or bead in this series is shaped by hand in our Mt Eden studio, then finished with heat, instinct, and care. Despite their statement appeal, the pieces are lightweight and wearable — jewellery for people who want their accessories to speak softly but leave an impression.

This collection is particularly suited to those who love sculptural jewellery, are drawn to New Zealand-made artisan design, and want to invest in textured silver jewellery that is both quiet and commanding.
