Perfora

Perfora is a study in contrast — solid metal shaped by light, emptiness, and volcanic memory.

This sculptural jewellery collection explores the power of negative space, playing with how light passes through form and how texture shapes emotion. Each piece is handcrafted using perforated bronze or sterling silver, adorned with luminous baroque pearls or richly coloured gemstones.

Inspired by Auckland’s volcanic textures and the quiet drama of shadow, Perfora is both airy and grounded. From organic stud earrings to bold, architectural drops, this collection invites contrast — soft curves set against structured voids, precious stones glowing within open frameworks.

Each work is made in small runs in our Mt Eden studio. No two pieces are exactly alike.

While the collection currently centres around earrings, it’s expanding to include rings and bracelets that feature the same visual language of pierced metal and embedded light.
