Shipping: We offer tracked courier shipping across Aotearoa New Zealand. Orders are typically dispatched within 2-3 business days (unless marked as 'Made to Order'). Free shipping is available on all NZ orders over $195.

Returns: We want you to love your jewellery. We offer a 7-day return period for an exchange or store credit. Please note that for hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

By choosing handmade, you are supporting local craftsmanship and receiving a piece that carries the subtle, unique marks of the maker's hand—ensuring no two pieces are ever exactly the same.

Sterling Silver: Gently polish with a soft jewellery cloth to maintain shine. Silver Care Guide →

Solid Gold (9ct, 14ct, 18ct): Solid gold will not tarnish or peel, but it can gather oils and dust. Soak in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, then gently scrub with a soft toothbrush to restore its brilliance.

Bronze: Over time, bronze develops a unique vintage patina. Polish to restore brightness or leave to age naturally. Bronze Care Guide →

Gemstones: Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.

I can produce the same look in alternative sizes if this is different from your size. Due to the nature of the process, each ring is one-off, and the measurements are always approximate.

Packaging

All rings come packaged in ring boxes ready for gift-giving but easy to open if you want to peek first. Alternatively, you can purchase a beautiful handcrafted wooden Ring Box as an extra special add-on.

Need to be sure of your ring size? Purchase a Ring Sizer to help to determine your ring size.

An online discount code will be sent with the sizer for $9 to use if you choose to go ahead with a ring purchase.

Please note: 

  1. Each piece of HerbertandWilks Jewellery is hand-made in Sally Herbert's jewellery studio in Mt Eden, New Zealand, and making times can vary depending on the piece. 
  2. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know I have received your order. Once your jewellery is made and dispatched, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information.
  3. Please message me if you need a piece within a certain time frame.
  4. Every jewel I make is sent to you gift-wrapped.
