Sculptural fine silver meets ancient technique.
These Wrapped Keum-Boo Earrings are crafted from fine silver, shaped into elegant tapered columns. Each form is hand-textured using basalt stone from my Mt Eden garden, giving every pair a unique, organic surface of finely scored lines.
A layer of 24ct gold is applied using the Keum-Boo technique — a process that fuses precious metal foil to silver through heat and pressure. The result is a subtle, glowing contrast between silver and gold, with a gentle warmth that catches the light.
These mid-length earrings are oxidised to enhance their texture and shape, and suspended from simple sterling silver hooks.
Perfect for day-to-night wear — lightweight, detailed, and quietly bold.
