Jewellery Care Guide

Sterling Silver: Gently polish with a soft jewellery cloth to maintain shine. Silver Care Guide →

Solid Gold (9ct, 14ct, 18ct): Solid gold will not tarnish or peel, but it can gather oils and dust. Soak in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, then gently scrub with a soft toothbrush to restore its brilliance.

18ct Gold Plate: Avoid water, perfumes, and lotions to preserve the gold layer. Gold Plate Care Guide →

Bronze: Over time, bronze develops a unique vintage patina. Polish to restore brightness or leave to age naturally. Bronze Care Guide →

Gemstones: Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.

Botanical 🖤 Nature distilled in precious metals, textured, tactile, and alive

Inspired by New Zealand Nature

On my walks around Mt Eden, I often find myself picking up pōhutukawa leaves — drawn to their shape, their colour, and the little imperfections that make them unique. These bronze pōhutukawa leaf earrings begin as wax forms I handcraft in my studio, then cast in bronze with a soft patina that highlights natural tones.

Each pendant leaf begins as a wax form that I handcraft in my studio. I texture both sides to reflect the natural blemishes left by the native leaf miner weevil — tiny tracks that give real pōhutukawa leaves their character. The waxes are then cast into bronze, where a patina is carefully applied to soften the surface and highlight gentle tones of green, red, and brown. No two leaves are ever the same, which means your pair is truly one of a kind.

Each pair of Bronze Pōhutukawa Leaf Earrings carries the story of New Zealand’s landscape — a leaf gathered in inspiration, reimagined in bronze, and made to be worn as your own piece of nature.
