Sterling Silver: Gently polish with a soft jewellery cloth to maintain shine. Silver Care Guide →
Solid Gold (9ct, 14ct, 18ct): Solid gold will not tarnish or peel, but it can gather oils and dust. Soak in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, then gently scrub with a soft toothbrush to restore its brilliance.
18ct Gold Plate: Avoid water, perfumes, and lotions to preserve the gold layer. Gold Plate Care Guide →
Bronze: Over time, bronze develops a unique vintage patina. Polish to restore brightness or leave to age naturally. Bronze Care Guide →
Gemstones: Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.

Choose Your Finish
Sterling Silver (925) — NZD $430.00
Bright, polished, and classic. Sterling silver develops a gentle patina over time and polishes back to a high shine with a soft cloth.
Caramel Bronze — NZD $250.00
Warm, sculptural, and distinctive. Silicon bronze carries a rich caramel tone that deepens and evolves with wear — no two pieces age the same way.
Style & Inspiration
The kōwhai is one of those trees that marks time in Aotearoa — the yellow blooms arrive in spring, the tūī follow, and then the pods hang long and curved from the branches like quiet ornaments. This bangle begins there: with the pod form, translated into metal.
The shape undulates gently around your wrist — no hard edges, no flat planes. Just a soft, sculptural curve that catches light in motion. Solid enough to hold its own, light enough to reach for without thinking. Made to sit comfortably alone or to join a stack with ease.
It's a piece with a little bit of home in it. A wearable nod to something native and enduring — something you carry every time you wear it.
It also carries real material significance as a gift. The sterling silver version speaks directly to a 25th wedding anniversary — silver, handcrafted, and made to last. The caramel bronze speaks to the 8th and 19th wedding anniversaries. Both are pieces that hold meaning beyond the moment they're given.
Pairs beautifully with the Kōwhai Pod Drop Earrings for a considered botanical set.
