Solid Gold (9ct, 14ct, 18ct): Solid gold will not tarnish or peel, but it can gather oils and dust. Soak in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap, then gently scrub with a soft toothbrush to restore its brilliance.
18ct Gold Plate: Avoid water, perfumes, and lotions to preserve the gold layer. Gold Plate Care Guide โ
Bronze: Over time, bronze develops a unique vintage patina. Polish to restore brightness or leave to age naturally. Bronze Care Guide โ
Gemstones: Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners.

Style & Inspiration
The pohutukawa is one of New Zealand's most iconic flowering trees โ its crimson blooms mark midsummer and coastline in equal measure. This earring translates that flower into something wearable and lasting: a fluid, hand-carved form that keeps the looseness of the original rather than reaching for botanical precision.
The oxidised tips deepen the shadow at the stamen ends, giving each flower a quiet intensity โ present enough to catch the light, subtle enough to wear every day.
Pairs beautifully with other pieces from the Botanical Flower collection.
