Collection: HerbertandWilks Jewellery Archive

Some stories are too good not to share — even when the piece has already found its home.

Welcome to the HerbertandWilks Archive, a place where you can wander through past designs, discover one-of-a-kind creations, and see how my work has evolved. Each piece tells a story — of texture, place, and memory — and while these exact jewels are no longer available, they remain part of the living history of the studio.

A Living Record of Craft

Every ring, bangle, or pendant you see here was handcrafted in Auckland, New Zealand, using traditional techniques and experimental approaches in wax and metal. From silver cuffs shaped by molten flow to botanical bangles inspired by pōhutukawa and kōwhai, the Archive celebrates irregularities and individuality.

Inspiration for Your Own Piece

If something here speaks to you, take it as a starting point. Many of my clients commission jewellery inspired by Archive designs — whether it’s a ring to celebrate a milestone, a pendant with your birthstone, or a bangle marking an anniversary. You’re welcome to contact me about creating something in the same spirit, made uniquely for you.
