Pōhutukawa

The Pōhutukawa trees hugging the slopes of Mt Eden are a profusion of glowing, crimson-red flowers around December. The trees are an endless source of inspiration, and their iconic spiky flowers and beautifully characterful leaves, due to their blemishes and holes, spark endless creativity for me.
