Botanical 🖤 Nature distilled in precious metals, textured, tactile, and alive

These Kōwhai Pod Stud Earrings are small botanical stud earrings cast in silicon bronze, with sterling silver posts and butterfly backs. Each stud measures approximately 11mm x 8mm and weighs around 1.4g, making them lightweight and comfortable for everyday wear. Small enough to reach for every day, but with enough texture and character to feel distinctly different from a standard stud. Inspired by the distinctive seed pods of New Zealand’s kōwhai tree, each pair is individually cast and hand finished in my Mt Eden, Auckland studio, with subtle variations in texture and form.

No. Each pair is individually cast and hand finished, so there will be small variations in texture and surface from pair to pair.

Can I order them in sterling silver?
Yes. The studs are currently listed in bronze, but please contact me if you would like a pair made in sterling silver.
