The Organic Leaf-Stacking Ring is a hand-drawn sterling silver band wrapped with 12 leaves, made to order in Mt Eden, New Zealand by jewellery designer Sally Herbert. Built in wax before casting, the band shifts naturally from 2mm to 3mm wide with a satin lustre finish and a comfort-fit profile, so it sits easily on its own or stacked. Each ring is made to order in sizes L to Q, with a 9ct yellow gold version also available.

Style & Inspiration
If you want a ring with more character than a plain band but nothing that shouts, this is the one. The leaves are drawn by hand onto wax and then layered around the band, so the band has a living, slightly uneven rhythm that catches the light as it turns, and at 2mm to 3mm with a comfort-fit inside it stays easy to wear all day and through work with your hands. It sits flush against an engagement or wedding ring, layers with other textured silver, and looks just as considered worn alone.
I think of the leaves as small victories, which makes it a quiet way to mark a birthday, a graduation, a new job or an anniversary, whether you are buying it for yourself or as a gift. It was also my first ring modelled in wax, so every one still carries that hand-made looseness rather than a machined edge.
